About

MinMaxiste Inc. is led by Pascal Lalonde, a systems administrator and developer with over twenty years of experience running Unix infrastructure at every scale — from small hosting shops to some of the largest platforms on the internet.

He spent the last decade in site reliability and platform roles at Google, Two Sigma Investments, and Reddit, automating baremetal fleets, designing complex DNS and proxy infrastructure, and building the telemetry and SLO systems that keep large services healthy. Earlier, he led the Unix team behind Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure.

His focus is Unix-based open-source systems — Linux & BSD — along with networking, automation, and distributed services. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Université de Montréal.
